With digital advancements we don’t see printed stationary much more, things like letter heads and business cards will be mass produced and repetitive. With smaller businesses we can bring back detail and individuality.

 

Parrish Books is inspired by my own surname and its religious significance, a 'Parish' is often associated with churches which I had linked to books to create an identity for a book shop.

 

The stationary I designed was inspired heavily by religious imagery and the interiors of churches with curving architecture and pillars. It also takes from William Morris’s textiles to emphasises the past.
